Blog Topic 3 - What I Already Know - My Best Answers

I feel like I already know some of the answers involving engaging students in curriculum, making them appreciate it, learn it, remember it, and apply it.  Here are some of my theories:

  • When trying to engage students in curriculum, there are three basic approaches that "seem" to be working:
    • Physically talk to (engage) the student.  Ask them what they enjoy.  Survey them.
    • Engage other teachers in a similar field of study and survey them
    • Trial and error through project development
  • I feel as though important sources for more thourough research would be:
    • Videos
    • Archives
    • Historical Accounts
    • Informed People
    • Creativity
